Pour boiling water over the dates and let them sit for a few minutes.
- Dates: 200 g

Toast the coconut flakes in a dry pan until golden brown, stirring constantly. Grind the oats in a blender or coffee grinder to a flour consistency (oat flour can be used).
- Coconut flakes: 3 tablespoons
- Oat flakes: 4 tablespoons

Add pitted dates, cocoa, and coconut flakes to the ground oats and blend everything until smooth. You can add a little water if the mixture seems too thick or uneven. Finally, add chopped chocolate and blend again briefly. Form balls (or any other shape) with wet hands. Sprinkle with cocoa, flakes, or something else. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
