Apple charlotte with corn flour
8 servings
90 minutes
Very easy to make, but incredibly tasty and airy! Tender, soft and not dry at all, and the crust is very aromatic and crispy!

1
Whisk the eggs with a mixer until fluffy. While continuing to whisk, add sugar. Whisk until creamy and the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Sugar: 1 glass
2
Add the sifted flour to the egg mixture and gently mix with a tablespoon (not in circular motions, but from top to bottom, until the dough absorbs the flour).
- Corn flour: 0.5 glass
- Premium wheat flour: 0.5 glass
3
Wash the apples, dry them, remove the core, and cut into thin slices.
- Apple: 4 pieces
4
Grease the baking pan with oil and lightly dust with flour if desired.
- Corn flour: 0.5 glass
5
Place apple slices at the bottom of the mold and pour the batter on top.
- Apple: 4 pieces
6
Bake the charlotte in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes (if not cooked enough, bake for another 15 minutes at 195°C).
7
Do not open the oven door while baking, or the charlotte will fall. The pie is ready when a light brown crust appears on top.
