Royal curd pudding is an exquisite dessert of European cuisine that combines the tenderness of cottage cheese with an airy crumb made from flour and margarine. This recipe recalls ancient royal feasts where simple yet refined flavors were cherished. The curd layer gives the pudding a rich milky taste with a slight tang, while the sweet golden crust creates a pleasant contrast of textures. The finished pudding melts in the mouth, revealing a rich and cozy aroma of homemade baking. It is served as a standalone treat with tea or coffee and can be complemented with jam or fresh berries. Due to its versatility and simplicity of preparation, it is perfect for family dinners and festive gatherings.
