Chocolate cottage cheese pie is a harmony of delicate cottage cheese and rich cocoa encased in a fragile crumb. Its roots trace back to European baking traditions where chocolate and dairy create a perfect duet. The pie's flavor is soft and airy, with subtle notes of bitter chocolate complemented by the sweetness of the cottage cheese filling. Its structure combines tenderness with a light crunch, while decoration with fresh berries adds brightness and freshness. This pie is perfect for a cozy family tea time, especially on cool evenings when you crave something warm and comforting. It requires no complex ingredients, and the preparation turns into an engaging process of creating a small culinary masterpiece. Serve it slightly cooled alongside a cup of fragrant tea or coffee to fully enjoy its exquisite taste.

1
First, we send the butter to the freezer. In the meantime, we prepare the filling. We mix the cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar until smooth.
- Butter: 95 g
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
- Sugar: 90 g
2
Take the butter out of the freezer and mix it with flour into fine crumbs.
- Butter: 95 g
- Wheat flour: 150 g
3
Add 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda (do not extinguish the soda!), 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, and 3 heaping tablespoons of cocoa to the flour. Mix with a cold spoon until the cocoa is evenly distributed.
- Soda: 5 g
- Sugar: 90 g
- Cocoa: 125 g
4
Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with cocoa.
- Butter: 95 g
- Cocoa: 125 g

Pour half of the crumbs into the mold, then pour all the filling on top, and add the remaining crumbs over the filling. Distribute all layers carefully without pressing, as the filling is very delicate and the crumbs are dry. Send it to a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
- Wheat flour: 150 g
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
- Cocoa: 125 g

Let the finished pie cool for at least half an hour. It's better to place the mold on a damp towel. I thought it would be nice to decorate the pie with some bright berries (like strawberries) and a sprig of mint.
