Stromboli (pizza roll)

Stromboli is a delicious Italian roll inspired by traditional pizza. Its history began in the 1950s in the USA, where Italian immigrants created this portable pizza variant. The crispy dough wraps around spicy ham, flavorful salami, and zesty pepperoni, complemented by melted mozzarella and rich hard cheese. Fresh basil adds an Italian touch to the dish. Baked to a golden crust, stromboli absorbs the aromas of oregano and olive oil, creating a perfect balance of flavors. It's great for a cozy dinner, a friendly gathering, or a quick snack. Served with marinara sauce that adds sweet and sour notes, making each bite even richer. Stromboli is a gastronomic journey to Italy wrapped in a roll!
