Chocolate rolls

Chocolate rolls are an exquisite dessert that captivates with its airy texture and rich cocoa flavor. This recipe originates from European culinary tradition, where special attention is paid to the balance of sweetness and tenderness. Thin sponge layers made from whipped eggs gain lightness and softness, while their subtle chocolate hue deepens the taste. A delicate creamy filling adds a velvety texture, and the finishing touch—powdered sugar with cinnamon—gives a warm spicy note. Chocolate rolls are perfect for cozy family tea times as well as festive treats. They are served chilled, allowing the cream to soak into the layers, making each bite delightfully tender.
