Vegetarian fruit balls are a vibrant embodiment of Russian cuisine, blending traditions and healthy ingredients. These sweet treats made from dried apricots, dates, figs, and raisins have a rich fruity flavor with a delicate nutty hint from hazelnuts. Historically, dried fruits were an important part of Russian gastronomy, especially in winter when fresh fruits were unavailable. Such desserts not only delight the taste but also provide energy, making them ideal for snacking throughout the day. Made without sugar and flour, these balls are suitable even for those who follow a healthy diet. They can be served with tea or used as a nutritious snack after workouts.
