Mannik with strawberry sauce is a delicate and airy pie that rightfully holds a special place in Russian cuisine. Mannik made with kefir turns out soft, porous, and slightly moist, perfectly complementing the light acidity of the strawberry sauce. Traditionally, mannik was considered a simple village treat, but its variations today find a place even on festive tables. The strawberry sauce adds freshness to it, transforming ordinary baked goods into an exquisite dessert. This pie is perfect for morning tea or as a light treat for guests. Its uniqueness lies in its simplicity of preparation and the possibility for experimentation: the sauce can be replaced with other berries or fruits, giving mannik new flavor nuances.

Heat the kefir until warm, pour it into a deep bowl, add semolina, and let it sit for 15 minutes. It will resemble regular thick semolina porridge.
- Kefir: 1.5 glass
- Semolina: 1 glass

After 15 minutes, add the egg and sugar, mix well, add the flour and mix again. If it's too thick, add the remaining kefir and mix. The dough will resemble thick sour cream.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sugar: 0.5 glass
- Wheat flour: 200 g
- Kefir: 1.5 glass
