Sweet pear and nut pie is a refined combination of tender dough, juicy pear pieces, and crunchy walnuts. It draws from European culinary traditions where simple ingredients transform into true masterpieces. Pears soaked in vanilla sugar add a soft sweetness to the pie, while the nuts enhance the flavor richness. The sour cream and honey soak makes the dessert particularly airy and fragrant. This pie is perfect for a cozy tea time, creating an atmosphere of home warmth. Sprinkled with cinnamon and drizzled with honey, it reveals a full spectrum of flavor notes—from spicy hints to light fruity acidity. Easy to make yet elegant in taste, this pie will adorn any table and provide a moment of true enjoyment.

1
Cream softened butter with sugar, add flour and baking powder, mix.
- Butter: 100 g
- Sugar: 100 g
- Wheat flour: 200 g
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
2
Pour warm water, stir until the flour lumps dissolve, add vanilla sugar.
- Water: 50 ml
- Vanilla sugar: to taste
3
Cut the pears (I took one of the soft varieties) into small pieces, and there's no need to peel them - the skin will soften after baking.
- Pears: 2 pieces
4
Break the walnuts into pieces. You can grind them in a blender, but in this case, it's better if the pieces are larger.
- Walnuts: 50 g
5
Add nuts and pear pieces to the batter, mix, and pour into a parchment-lined mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Walnuts: 50 g
- Pears: 2 pieces
6
Mix sour cream and honey in a separate container. If you love honey, add another spoon.
- Sour cream 15%: 4 tablespoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
7
Check the readiness with a toothpick or knife by inserting it into the center of the pie - they should come out dry. Without removing from the oven, pour and spread the sour cream-honey mixture over the surface of the pie and leave it in the turned-off but still hot oven for about 10 minutes.
- Sour cream 15%: 4 tablespoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
8
Remove the pie, let it cool completely, serve it sprinkled with cinnamon and drizzled with the remaining honey mixture.
- Ground cinnamon: to taste
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
