Apple-pineapple pie is a delicate and fragrant treat infused with the warmth of home traditions. The European roots of the recipe lead to classic fruit pies where juicy apples harmoniously blend with the exotic sweetness of pineapple. The crispy crust, soft caramelized filling, and hints of cinnamon and vanilla create an incredibly cozy flavor perfect for family tea time or festive gatherings. This pie not only pleases the eye with its golden lattice but also envelops the home in aromas of warmth and comfort. It can be served as a standalone dessert or complemented with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for even greater gastronomic harmony.

1
Dough. In a large bowl, mix sugar (white) with butter. Add eggs and 1 yolk. Whisk until slightly thickened. Gradually add flour (watch the consistency, the dough should not be too stiff, as we will shape it by hand) while constantly stirring with a wooden spoon. Knead the dough, form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- Sugar: 70 g
- Butter: 250 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Egg yolk: 1 piece
- Wheat flour: 500 g
2
Wash the apples, peel and core them, and cut into cubes. Melt some butter in a pan, add the apples and sauté until soft and caramelized, then add the pineapples (without juice) and sauté for a couple more minutes. Remove from heat, transfer to a deep container, add brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly.
- Green apples: 5 piece
- Butter: 250 g
- Canned pineapple: 1 jar
- Brown sugar: 70 g
- Vanillin: 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon: 1 tablespoon

Take the dough ball out of the fridge, divide it into 2 roughly equal parts. Use one part to spread by hand on the bottom and sides of the baking dish so that when we add our fruit mix, the dough walls are slightly raised.
4
Spread the fruit mixture evenly across the entire diameter of the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
5
Roll the remaining dough into a flat 'pancake' and cut it into equally thick strips. Lay them in a lattice over the apples, pinching the edges of the strips to the sides of the dough.
6
Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes until the dough turns golden.
