Apple cake with pudding is a delicate and fragrant dessert that combines the sweetness of apples, the velvety texture of vanilla pudding, and a crunchy base of biscuit cookies. This recipe has roots in Russian cuisine, where apples are traditionally used in baking. The apples are cooked with sugar and lemon juice to create a soft fruit base, while the vanilla pudding adds richness and a creamy consistency to the dish. The finishing touch is a layer of sour cream with vanilla sugar and cinnamon, adding a slight tanginess and spicy aroma. This cake is perfect for cozy family tea times and celebrations when you want to treat your loved ones to a homemade delight.
