Heavenly chocolate muffins with chocolate chunks are a true embodiment of the French love for baking. Their story begins in cozy Parisian patisseries where chocolate perfection becomes an art. The delicate, airy batter rich in cocoa creates a deep chocolate flavor harmoniously complemented by real chocolate pieces. The muffins have a rich vanilla aroma and a hint of cinnamon spice, while their soft texture makes every bite unforgettable. They are perfect for morning coffee, exquisite tea times, or simply enjoying the moment. The striking combination of sweetness and slight bitterness of cocoa makes them a favorite treat for connoisseurs of quality baking. Serve them warm to let the chocolate inside melt slightly for even more pleasure.

1
Pour hot water into a medium bowl, place a larger bowl on top, add butter to it, and sprinkle sugar and vanilla sugar on top. Wait for 5 minutes for the butter to soften.
- Butter: 110 g
- Sugar: 200 g
- Vanilla sugar: 10 g
2
While the butter softens, sift the flour with cocoa, add baking powder and salt. You can do this several times for a fluffier dough.
- Wheat flour: 240 g
- Cocoa: 50 g
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Salt: pinch
3
We mix soft butter with sugar. Add eggs and beat with a mixer. The fewer lumps remain, the better.
- Butter: 110 g
- Sugar: 200 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
4
Now is the time to preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
5
We add the flour mixture gradually. It's better to mix with a whisk. When the dough becomes hard to mix, we add milk gradually and continue kneading.
- Wheat flour: 240 g
- Cocoa: 50 g
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Salt: pinch
- Milk: 120 ml
6
At the very end, add chocolate cut into small pieces. To prevent the chocolate from sinking to the bottom, mix the mass before placing it in the mold.
- Chocolate: 100 g
7
We pour the dough into molds. I personally used paper ones placed in silicone ones. We sprinkle sugar mixed with cinnamon on top, but this is optional.

Bake the muffins for 20 minutes. The main thing is to take them out immediately after 20 minutes, otherwise they will dry out and not be very soft.
