Brownies with marshmallows are a classic dessert of American cuisine that combines the rich taste of chocolate with the delicate fluffiness of marshmallows. The history of brownies dates back to the late 19th century when they were first made in the USA as a hybrid between cake and cookie. This marshmallow version adds caramelized sweetness and pleasant chewiness. The prepared brownie is first baked to a dense yet moist texture, then topped with marshmallows that melt and slightly brown under heat. The dessert turns out incredibly soft inside and slightly crispy outside, perfectly pairing with coffee or milk. It can be decorated with melted chocolate for an elegant touch. An ideal choice for a cozy evening or festive table.
