Oatmeal chocolate cookies are an amazing blend of traditional Yugoslav cuisine and modern healthy eating trends. Okara, a byproduct of soy milk, gives the cookies a rich flavor and tender texture. Rye flour adds a slight bitterness, while cocoa and honey create a harmonious combination of sweetness and depth of flavor. These cookies are perfect for morning tea or coffee and can also serve as a healthy snack throughout the day. The simplicity of preparation and natural ingredients make them accessible to anyone who values healthy and tasty food.

1
Mix okara with flour and cocoa. It should result in a crumbly mixture. Add honey (can be replaced with sugar) and oil (pumpkin, olive, etc. can be used). Knead by hand until a uniform mass is obtained. If the dough is too crumbly, add a little water if necessary.
