Quick berry pie with jam is a cozy treat infused with the traditions of Russian cuisine. Its roots trace back to family recipes where housewives made sweet pies from available ingredients. The tender dough with butter and sugar, enriched with the aroma of black currants, turns into a crispy delight with a juicy berry filling. The taste of the pie perfectly balances between the sweetness of the jam and a slight tartness, creating a rich yet harmonious palette. It is suitable for family tea gatherings as well as cozy evenings with loved ones. Simple to prepare but incredibly delicious, this pie evokes memories of childhood and home gatherings. It is best served with hot tea or milk, enjoying its tenderness and warmth.

1
Melt the butter and mix it with sugar.
- Butter: 100 g
- Sugar: 5 tablespoon
2
Add soda with citric acid.
- Soda: 0.3 teaspoon
- Citric acid: 0 g
3
Add eggs and flour (gradually), you can also add baking powder, but it's not necessary.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
4
Knead the dough. The longer we knead, the better it will be.
5
Divide the dough into two parts (in a ratio of 2:3). Roll out the larger part and line the bottom of the mold (don't forget about the edges, they need to be made so that the jam doesn't leak during cooking).
6
Spread the jam on the dough and cover it with the remaining part as desired.
- Blackcurrant jam: 1 glass
