Charlotte in a multicooker

Charlotte is a refined dessert from French cuisine, created as a simple yet elegant treat dedicated to Queen Charlotte. This delicate cake captivates with its lightness and airiness, while the combination of apples, caramelized sugar, and soft dough makes it incredibly fragrant. Prepared in a multicooker, it retains special juiciness and a subtle flavor that melts in your mouth. The sautéed apples soaked in butter and caramel turn into a sweet filling, topped with a golden, soft biscuit. Perfect as a morning dessert or cozy treat for tea. Serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or lightly whipped cream to highlight its French heritage. The simplicity of preparation makes charlotte an excellent choice even for beginner cooks, while its aroma fills the home with warmth and comfort.

1
Peel the apples, remove the seeds, and slice them.
- Apple: 4 pieces
2
Set the multicooker to warming mode and place a piece of butter in the pot to melt. Once melted, lightly grease the pot's walls with the butter and add 2 tablespoons of sugar (brown sugar will give a more golden color, but regular can be used). Stir with a wooden or plastic spoon until the sugar completely dissolves in the butter.
- Butter: 50 g
- Sugar: 1 glass
3
First, arrange the first layer of apples beautifully (starting from the outer edge) — this will be the top of the pie! Then, place the remaining apples on the first layer as you like, not too tightly.
- Apple: 4 pieces

Whisk the eggs with sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add a cup of flour with baking powder and continue whisking. The dough will be like sour cream.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Sugar: 1 glass
- Wheat flour: 1 glass
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
5
Pour the batter over the apples. Set to bake for 40 minutes. When ready, flip onto a serving dish.
- Wheat flour: 1 glass
- Apple: 4 pieces
