First, prepare the béchamel sauce. Melt butter in a small saucepan, add flour, mix well, and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Slowly add milk and cream, constantly whisking until a smooth mixture is obtained. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook until the sauce thickens, then leave it to cool.
- Butter: 25 g
- Wheat flour: 25 g
- Milk: 150 ml
- Cream: 50 ml

Slice the ham and apples thinly, grate the cheese, and beat the egg. Make two circles of dough with diameters of 24 and 26 cm.
- Cooked and smoked ham: 700 g
- Apple: 2 pieces
- Cheddar cheese: 200 g

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Place a larger circle on the baking sheet, brush the edges with beaten egg, and add a spoonful of sauce in the center. Sprinkle some cheese, then add a small amount of ham, followed by some apples. Alternate the layers until all ingredients are used. Cover with a second circle and seal the edges.

Brush the top of the pie with the remaining beaten egg. Also, make a small hole in the center of the pie to release steam. Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and simmer for another 15 minutes. Before serving, let the pie cool slightly.
