Lush pancakes with kefir

Fluffy kefir pancakes are a refined combination of softness and airiness that transforms a simple breakfast into a true gastronomic delight. This recipe has roots in European cuisine, where delicate texture and rich flavor are traditionally valued. Thanks to the kefir, the dough acquires special fluffiness, while baking soda adds lightness and tenderness to the structure. The pancakes are served hot, soaked in butter, making them even more aromatic and appetizing. They can be complemented with honey, jam or fresh berries, creating a unique blend of sweetness and airiness. Such pancakes are perfect for a cozy breakfast or family tea time, enveloping you in warm home aromas and awakening pleasant memories.

1
Mix kefir with water and slightly warm it up.
- Kefir: 1 glass
- Water: 40 ml
2
In the container where you will prepare the mixture, add salt, sugar, an egg, and pour in slightly warmed kefir. Mix thoroughly until foam appears on top.
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
3
Add flour in 2 or 3 portions for easier mixing. The result should be a thick mass that doesn't drip from the spoon but comes off in a sticky, dense form.
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
4
Add baking soda and mix the mixture thoroughly again.
- Soda: 0.5 teaspoon
5
Heat the pan and add vegetable oil. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
6
Brush the ready pancakes with butter. I also sprinkle sugar on them.
