Chocolate cherry cupcakes are a small culinary wonder that combines the richness of dark chocolate with the light tartness of cherries. This dessert, popular in Europe, is especially loved for its tender texture and rich flavor. The history of such cupcakes traces back to French and Austrian baking traditions, where chocolate has always played a key role. The cherry added to the center of each cupcake gives it freshness and a pleasant surprise. They are served slightly warm when the filling remains molten. They are perfect for cozy evenings with a cup of coffee or as an elegant dessert for festive tables. Unfrozen cherries enhance the flavor, while using 70% chocolate makes them particularly rich.

1
Melt chocolate with butter, beat eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the chocolate-butter mixture in parts. Finally, add the flour.
- Dark chocolate 70%: 200 g
- Butter: 100 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sugar: 100 g
- Vanilla sugar: 30 g
- Salt: pinch
- Wheat flour: 70 g
2
Mix everything thoroughly. Grease the molds with butter (I used special paper molds, which don't need greasing), spoon the dough in, and place a cherry in the middle (I used frozen cherries and did not thaw them).
- Butter: 100 g
- Frozen cherries: 100 g
3
Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Check for doneness - the center should be liquid!
