Crème brûlée with caramel is an exquisite French dessert that captivates gourmets with its refined texture and rich flavor. Its roots go back to the distant past, and the name translates to 'burnt cream.' The delicate custard made from cream, milk, and egg yolks serves as the perfect base for a thin crispy layer of caramel. Baked in a water bath, it achieves a velvety consistency and upon cooling offers a harmonious blend of softness and crunchy sweetness. This dish is often served in fine dining restaurants but is also perfect for cozy home evenings. Crème brûlée with caramel can be complemented with berries, nuts, or aromatic spices, making it even more interesting and unique.
