Cottage cheese croissants with raspberry jam and dates

Cottage cheese croissants with raspberry jam and dates are a cozy combination of softness and rich flavor, infused with the warmth of Russian cuisine. This dessert originates from the traditions of home baking, where every housewife aimed to treat her loved ones to something special. The delicate cottage cheese dough gives the pastry airiness, while the sweetness of raspberry jam is perfectly complemented by the caramel notes of dates. The croissants are crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, creating a harmony of textures. They are perfect for cozy family tea gatherings or as a morning treat with coffee. Their small size makes them convenient for snacking, and the combination of simple ingredients makes them accessible for even novice bakers.

1
Knead the dough into a firm elastic ball. Roll out a flatbread 5–7 mm thick, cut the circle into triangles, spread jam without touching the edges, place the filling (in my case - dates) on top and roll into a croissant.
