Mannik with sour cream without flour

Sour cream manna is a delicate and airy pie popular in European cuisine. Its base is semolina, which gives the dough a unique velvety texture. Historically, mannicas emerged as a simple yet nutritious dessert for family tea gatherings. The sweetness of sugar harmonizes with the light tang of sour cream, creating a soft, rich flavor. Manna is perfect for cozy home breakfasts or light desserts. It easily complements berries, jam, or sour cream frosting, highlighting its simplicity and versatility. During preparation, it's important to let the semolina swell to make the pie especially soft. When baked, it forms a golden crust that makes it not only tasty but also visually appealing. Manna is an ideal choice for those who appreciate the simplicity and comfort of homemade baking.

1
Beat three eggs.
- Chicken egg: 3 pieces
2
Then add sugar, semolina, sour cream, and baking soda. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Sugar: 1 glass
- Semolina: 1 glass
- Sour cream: 1 glass
- Soda: 0.5 teaspoon
3
Then cover with a lid and leave for 30-40 minutes for the semolina to swell (the dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream).
4
Grease the mold with oil.
5
Pour the batter into it.
6
Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes. Do not open the oven during baking to prevent the pie from collapsing. When ready, it should be covered with a golden crust.
