Banana pie with sour cream is a true delight for lovers of delicate desserts. Its roots trace back to American cuisine, where special attention is given to the combination of soft texture and rich flavor. This pie combines airy dough with pieces of sweet bananas and is topped with thick sour cream that adds a pleasant tanginess and velvetiness. Due to its softness and moisture, the pie is perfect for cozy home tea times or festive treats. Sweet bananas complement the creamy tenderness, while a light vanilla note makes the taste truly harmonious. It’s best served with warm tea or coffee, and each slice should definitely be drizzled with thick sour cream-banana sauce that enhances its tenderness. This delicacy tempts and makes you come back for another piece.

1
Beat 3 eggs, 6 tablespoons of sugar, and 4 tablespoons of sour cream. Pour in melted butter (100 g) and mix.
- Chicken egg: 3 pieces
- Sugar: 10 tablespoons
- Sour cream: 10 tablespoons
- Butter: 100 g
2
Mix 1.5 cups of flour with a packet of baking powder, or add slaked soda (0.5 teaspoon) to the dough. Sift this flour into the mixture and knead.
- Wheat flour: 300 g
- Baking powder: 10 g
3
Cut 3 bananas into small cubes and mix them into the prepared dough.
- Bananas: 5 piece
4
Grease the mold with oil, pour in the batter, and place it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
- Butter: 100 g
5
Bake for 30–40 minutes, check readiness with a toothpick.
6
Remove the hot pie from the mold and pour sauce over it. NOT FOR EVERYONE! Let the pie rest a bit (it won't last long — it's tempting))) Before serving, definitely pour sauce over the pieces of pie!
7
For the sauce, mash 1-2 bananas with 6 tablespoons of sour cream (the fattier, the better!) and 4 tablespoons of sugar (using a blender).
- Bananas: 5 piece
- Sour cream: 10 tablespoons
- Sugar: 10 tablespoons
