Biscotti with sage is an original Italian dessert that combines the crunchy texture of classic biscotti with the subtle aroma of fresh sage. The history of biscotti dates back to the Renaissance when they became a favorite treat for travelers due to their durability. In this version, exquisite sage adds a refined herbal note to the cookie, making it more than just a sweetness. The flavor is balanced and delicate: butter, cane sugar, and vanilla create a soft sweetness while sage brings a light freshness. An ideal choice for serving with a cup of coffee or a glass of dessert wine. These biscotti are suitable for both a morning treat and an elegant finish to dinner.
