Oatmeal buns with nuts, raisins, and banana are a fragrant and healthy treat from Russian cuisine, where natural and nutritious products are traditionally valued. The combination of oatmeal, nuts, and dried fruits makes the baked goods tender, slightly sweet with a hint of nutty-fruity flavor. Banana adds softness while cinnamon provides a warm spicy aroma. These buns are perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack; they energize and leave a lasting feeling of fullness. Their simplicity in preparation makes them accessible even for beginner cooks. Baked to a golden crust, they delight the eye and taste, while their natural ingredients make them an excellent alternative to store-bought sweets.

1
In one bowl, mix oatmeal (better to take the cooking type, not instant), chopped nuts, cinnamon, sugar, raisins, baking powder, and salt.
- Oat flakes: 1 glass
- Nuts: 50 g
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Cane sugar: 0.5 glass
- Raisin: 70 g
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon
2
In another bowl, mix diced banana, grated apple and carrot (can be coarsely or finely grated, or blended), and add olive oil and warm boiled water.
- Bananas: 1 piece
- Apple: 0.5 piece
- Carrot: 0.5 piece
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Water: 100 ml
3
Combine the contents of both bowls. Mix well. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. If the dough is too liquid, you can add a little flour. The dough should be thick.
4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Carefully place the dough with a tablespoon a few centimeters apart.
5
Bake for 25–30 minutes until done. The buns should be golden brown.
