Cottage cheese donuts are a light and delicate treat from Russian cuisine, where simplicity and cozy flavor play a key role. These donuts are made with cottage cheese, giving them a pleasant tanginess and softness. They are crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. Historically, cottage cheese donuts became popular due to the availability of ingredients and quick preparation time. They are convenient to serve both at festive tables and for everyday breakfast. Their light sweet aroma and crispy crust make them an ideal addition to morning tea or coffee. Dusted with powdered sugar, they resemble snowy clouds, and their velvety taste brings warmth and comfort to everyone who tries them.
