Berry muffins with white chocolate are an exquisite dessert of Italian cuisine, combining the lightness of the dough with the richness of fresh berries and the tenderness of white chocolate. It is believed that such recipes arose from Italians' passion for harmonizing sweet and sour notes. Berries give the muffins a slight tartness, while melted pieces of white chocolate add velvety sweetness. These muffins are perfect for morning coffee or a cozy tea time. They are especially good warm when the chocolate is slightly melted and the berry juice fills every crumb of the dough. The simplicity of preparation makes them an excellent choice for home culinary experiments, and their versatility allows for different berries to be used, creating new flavor variations. Try it — and feel true delight in every bite!

1
In one bowl, pour all the wet ingredients: lemon juice, oil, milk, and eggs. Mix them well.
- Lemon juice: 2 teaspoons
- Milk: 250 ml
- Vegetable oil: 125 ml
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
2
Take the white chocolate and cut it into small pieces.
- White chocolate: 200 g
3
Put the dry ingredients in the second bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, chocolate. Leave about half a cup of chocolate pieces for decoration. Mix the dry ingredients.
- Wheat flour: 260 g
- Baking powder: 3 teaspoons
- Salt: 0.3 teaspoon
- Sugar: 15 g
- White chocolate: 200 g
4
Add the wet mixture to the dry one. Mix gently. Small lumps are not a problem; if you overmix, your muffins may become too tough.
5
Add berries to the mixture. If you are using frozen fruits, do not thaw them before adding to the batter. Otherwise, it will turn red.
- Fresh berries: 400 g
6
Gently mix the dough with the berries.
7
Line the molds with paper and carefully fill them with batter to the top, so that when baked, the cupcake forms that wonderful dome. Decorate the top with pieces of white chocolate. If there's no paper, grease the mold with any vegetable oil.
- White chocolate: 200 g
8
Bake for 20–25 minutes at 180 degrees.
9
When the muffins turn golden-brown and the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, the tray can be taken out of the oven.
