Chocolate chip cookies are a classic of American baking that originated in the 1930s when hotel owners accidentally added chocolate chips to the dough expecting them to melt. Instead, a legendary dessert was born! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these cookies win the hearts of sweet lovers. The combination of cane sugar and vanilla sugar adds caramel notes, while chocolate chips create a rich flavor. They are easy to prepare in advance by freezing the dough and then baking fresh. Perfect for cozy evenings with a cup of milk or coffee and as treats for kids and adults alike. Simple magic in every bite!
