Blue Cheese Garlic Buns

Blue cheese and garlic rolls are a true delight for gourmets. Their roots trace back to Italian cuisine, where baking traditions intertwine with a love for aromatic cheeses. The soft and airy dough, infused with the delicate flavor of gorgonzola and the spicy notes of garlic, creates a harmony of tastes. The pastry develops a golden crust, while the melted cheese adds a creamy texture. They pair perfectly with soups, salads, or as a standalone treat with wine. These rolls are not just bread; they are a culinary masterpiece where each ingredient plays its role in creating an unforgettable flavor composition.

1
Dissolve the yeast in warm water and pour it into the bowl with flour.
- Fresh yeast: 5 g
- Water: 175 ml
- Wheat flour: 250 g
2
Knead the dough in the bowl until smooth, then place it on the table and knead it well again.
3
Shape the dough into a ball and return it to a dusted bowl. Leave in a warm place to rise for an hour.
4
Place the dough on the table, divide it into 2 pieces, roll them into sausages, and then divide them into 5 pieces.
5
Roll small pieces into balls, place them on parchment greased with sunflower oil, and leave for 15 minutes covered with a towel. Leave enough space between the balls; otherwise, they will stick together.
- Garlic: 2 cloves
6
Make indentations in the raised balls (using a spoon handle or just your finger) and fill them with stuffing: finely chopped garlic at the bottom, then cheese, sprinkle with spices (dried basil or Provençal herbs work well here).
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Dorblu cheese: to taste
- Parmesan cheese: to taste
- Provencal herbs: to taste
7
Send the tray with dumplings to the oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 220 degrees until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
