Sherbet with roasted peanuts

Sherbet with roasted peanuts is a refined dessert of Turkish cuisine that combines creamy softness and nutty crunchiness. The origins of this delicacy trace back to the distant past when Eastern confectioners created sweets enveloped in the aromas of caramel and clarified butter. Roasted peanuts give the sherbet a rich flavor, while condensed milk and butter make its texture velvety. Lemon juice adds a slight tartness, balancing the sweetness. This dessert is perfect as a conclusion to a meal, especially when paired with strong Turkish tea. When chilled, it gains density and resembles Eastern halva or nougat. Sherbet not only delights the taste but also transports you to the atmosphere of ancient bazaars filled with spicy aromas and Eastern gastronomic magic.
