Truffle cookies are an exquisite dessert inspired by the sophistication of European cuisine. They are named for their shape resembling precious truffles. Crunchy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, with a hint of cocoa bitterness. These cookies pair perfectly with a cup of aromatic coffee or strong tea. Made from simple ingredients like flour, butter, and egg yolks, it’s the finishing touch of powdered sugar and cocoa that gives them that luxurious texture and rich flavor. Truffle cookies not only delight sweet tooths but also serve as an elegant treat for special occasions, adding warmth and charm to any tea gathering.
