Banana in cottage cheese is a delicate dessert of European cuisine that combines the sweetness of the fruit with the airy texture of the cheese coating. This treat can be considered a variation of baked fruits enriched with protein components and vanilla aroma. The origins of such a combination trace back to the tradition of using cottage cheese in baking, especially in Eastern European cuisines. The sweetness of grapes and raisins gives the dessert a rich fruity flavor, while buckwheat flour makes it healthier. The preparation process is similar to creating miniature cottage cheese casseroles: the banana is carefully wrapped in cheese mass and baked until golden brown. Baked fruits are especially popular in cold weather when one craves warming and cozy desserts. This option is an excellent addition to morning coffee or tea time.

1
We will keep the banana in its peel for now.
2
We make a coat for the banana from all the ingredients: in a blender, we grind cottage cheese with grapes, raisins, egg white, and finally add flour, vanillin, and baking powder. It should result in a thick cottage cheese mass that slightly sticks to the hands (that's not a problem).
- Low-fat cottage cheese: 100 g
- Grape: 5 piece
- Raisin: 2 tablespoons
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Buckwheat flour: 20 g
- Baking powder: pinch
- Vanillin: pinch
3
Peel the banana and cut it into slices about 1 cm thick.
- Bananas: 1 piece
4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the baking tray with oil or line it with parchment paper; a silicone mat also works well.
5
Next comes the interesting part: take a banana, gently press it in your fist, but not too hard, rounding it. Then take some cottage cheese and wrap the banana in it, rolling it into a ball for smoothness. Do this with all the pieces.
- Bananas: 1 piece
- Low-fat cottage cheese: 100 g
6
Bake for about 15 minutes, take out and brush with yolk on all sides. Then return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
