Tart with caramelized apples

60 minutes
Caramelized apple tart is a refined and cozy treat from Russian cuisine with echoes of French classicism. This dessert impresses with contrasting textures: the crispy golden crust frames tender apples soaked in caramel butter and sweet sugar. The apples slowly caramelize over heat, developing a rich, deep flavor with subtle caramel notes. This tart is best served warm when its aroma is most pronounced. It can be complemented with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or thick sour cream. The history of such apple pies goes back centuries when housewives used seasonal fruits to create fragrant desserts. Caramelized apple tart embodies simple elegance, combining sweetness, tartness, and the warmth of home comfort.
