Homemade bread without yeast

Homemade bread without yeast is the embodiment of simplicity and traditions of Russian cuisine. Its recipe originates from rural life, where housewives baked bread without complex ingredients, relying on natural products. This bread has a rich flavor thanks to dried apricots and walnuts that add a light sweetness and nutty note. Oats make the texture slightly crumbly, while yogurt and milk provide tenderness and softness. Baked without yeast, it has a pleasant dense crumb and a crispy crust. Such bread pairs perfectly with honey, jam or butter and is great for breakfast or a cozy tea time. Wrapped in a towel after baking, it retains its freshness and stays soft, inviting you to taste another slice.
