Italian peach gelato is a delicate dessert that embodies the spirit of sunny Italy. Its history roots in the traditions of Italian masters who created light, velvety cold treats during the Renaissance. In this recipe, fresh, juicy peaches are turned into fragrant puree and then combined with a rich creamy base made from milk, sugar, and egg yolks. Italians appreciate gelato for its softness and rich flavor that unfolds slowly and gently. The peach variant of this dessert brings sweet fruity freshness that perfectly complements the creamy texture. This type of ice cream is served as a standalone treat or paired with almonds and fresh berries. It refreshes wonderfully on a hot day, filling the moment with lightness and elegance.
