Apples in puff pastry are a refined dessert with roots in traditional Uzbek cuisine. The combination of delicate puff pastry and sweet baked apples creates a harmony of flavors and textures. Apples, peeled and filled with sugar, are sealed in crispy dough, finished with a golden crust from egg wash.
