Orange pudding with meringue is a delicate and fragrant dessert from British cuisine, combining warm citrus notes and airy sweetness. The origins of this treat trace back to English baking traditions, where flavor harmony is created through simple yet exquisite ingredients. The velvety base of milk, breadcrumbs, and orange zest fills the pudding with rich flavor, while a layer of marmalade and honey adds fruity sweetness. The finishing touch is the airy meringue baked to a golden crust, giving the dish lightness and a crispy texture. This dessert is perfect for cozy family evenings or as an elegant conclusion to a festive dinner, especially when paired with whipped cream.
