Sesame balls are a refined dessert of Indian cuisine, distinguished by a rich nutty aroma and delicate texture. Historically, sesame has been widely used in India for its nutritional properties and unique flavor. In this recipe, toasted sesame seeds give the sweet treat a deep, slightly caramel hue, while coconut flakes add a delicate exotic note. The combination of dry milk, butter, and powdered sugar ensures the softness and lightness of the balls. Coated in toasted sesame, they acquire an appetizing crispy crust. These balls are perfect for tea time or festive treats, awakening Eastern motifs in every bite.
