Grilled Figs with Ricotta
4 servings
30 minutes
Grilled figs with ricotta is an exquisite dessert of Mediterranean cuisine that combines the natural sweetness of fruits, the creamy tenderness of cheese, and the aroma of spices. Grilling the figs makes them soft and rich, allowing their deep flavor to unfold. Honey syrup with cinnamon adds spiciness and caramel notes, while crunchy almonds provide a pleasant textural contrast. This dish can be served as a conclusion to a light dinner or as a refined treat with a cup of tea. It blends traditional Mediterranean ingredients into a gastronomic delight worthy of the best restaurants in coastal cities of Italy or Greece.

In a small pot, place honey and a cinnamon stick, and pour in 4 tablespoons of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 6 minutes until reduced by half. Remove the cinnamon stick and add the almonds.
- Honey: 2 tablespoons

Mix ricotta, vanilla, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and orange zest in a bowl. Fill the figs with the mixture and drizzle syrup on top.
