Lemon croissants are a delicate and airy treat filled with the aroma of fresh lemon. Their origin can be linked to home baking, where simple ingredients transform into an exquisite dessert. Greek yogurt gives the dough a special softness, while butter adds a rich flavor. Lemon zest and juice add a light tanginess, creating the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. These croissants make a wonderful addition to morning coffee or tea and are also an exquisite treat for family evenings. They are served warm, sometimes dusted with powdered sugar to highlight the sweetness of the dough. Preparing them is not difficult but requires care in shaping to achieve the classic form. They evoke a sense of coziness and warmth, reminiscent of grandmother's kitchen.
