Vanilla cake is an airy, fragrant pastry that comes from Jewish cuisine and combines the tenderness of the dough with the sweetness of vanilla and raisins, as well as the softness of butter. This dessert has a refined taste and pleasant texture, and its preparation involves traditional yeast dough techniques that make it especially fluffy and light. Historically, such pastries could be made for holidays and family celebrations, bringing loved ones together at the table.
