Orange rolls are a fragrant and delicate treat from Russian cuisine. Their origin is linked to the tradition of baking sweet yeast products that have adorned festive tables for centuries. The rich citrus aroma and light sweetness of the filling make the rolls truly delightful. Thanks to orange zest and juice, the dough acquires subtle fruity notes, while caramelized sugar adds an appetizing crispy crust. These rolls are perfect for a cozy tea time or family breakfast. They can be served as a standalone treat or complemented with butter and jam.
