Cottage cheese donuts with strawberry sorbet and jam are a true delicacy of Estonian cuisine, combining the tenderness of cottage cheese and the freshness of berries. Fluffy donuts made from soft cottage cheese with a hint of citrus lemon zest and vanilla aroma are fried to a golden crust, creating a crispy shell. The strawberry sorbet, whipped from frozen berries with sugar, adds a refreshing tartness and refined sweetness, harmoniously complementing the airy donuts. Dusted with powdered sugar, these dessert masterpieces become a delicate delight, perfect for morning tea or festive treats.

1
Mix all the ingredients (soft cottage cheese, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 2 chicken eggs, lemon zest, vanilla sugar, salt, baking soda, and flour) for the donuts together. Heat oil for frying.
