Liqueur cake is a refined delicacy of European cuisine, harmoniously combining the airy texture of the dough with the rich aroma of cream liqueur. The history of such a dessert is rooted in the traditions of French and British baking, where alcoholic beverages were often used to enhance flavor depth. Baileys liqueur adds a velvety creamy note, making each piece tender and melting. This cake is perfect for a cozy tea time or festive dinner, complementing coffee or hot chocolate beautifully. Its simple preparation technique makes it suitable even for novice cooks, and its versatility allows for experimentation with various types of liqueurs to create new flavor variations.

1
First, beat the butter and margarine mixed with sugar until light cream, gradually adding 4 eggs.

You can also add Baileys liqueur to taste, which will give the cake depth of flavor after baking.

Next, add flour and mix well. Then pour into a baking dish (you can also use a muffin tin; the taste will remain, but the appearance will be lost).
