Tender cottage cheese sticks are a cozy and aromatic dessert of European cuisine that has won the hearts of baking lovers with their airy taste and ease of preparation. It is believed that recipes for such pastries originate from the traditions of home confectionery art, where simple ingredients were transformed into exquisite treats. The delicate structure of the sticks is achieved thanks to the cottage cheese, which gives them a slight tanginess and softness. They are slightly sweet with a crispy golden crust, and powdered sugar adds a touch of sophistication. Perfect for morning tea or a cozy family evening – they can be served with jam, honey, or sour cream. The simplicity of the recipe makes these sticks an excellent choice for both experienced cooks and beginners in the world of baking.

1
Beat the cottage cheese with a blender or mash it with a fork. Add eggs and sugar to it, and mix the ingredients well.
- Cottage cheese: 500 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
2
Then add sour cream, flour, salt, and baking soda to the obtained mass. Mix well again. Pay attention to the thickness of the dough: if the cottage cheese is wet, you may need more flour.
- Sour cream: 2 tablespoons
- Wheat flour: 1 glass
- Salt: pinch
- Soda: pinch
3
Knead the dough, then roll it into thin sausages and cut them into sticks of 5-7 cm.
4
Heat the oil well in a pan, dip in the cottage cheese sticks, and fry them on all sides until golden brown.
- Vegetable oil: 150 ml
5
To remove excess oil, first place the sticks on a napkin or paper towel, and then onto a plate, dusted with powdered sugar.
- Powdered sugar: to taste
