Mix cherries with sugar, transfer them to a sieve; the cherries will release juice needed for the sauce for dumplings. Leave the cherries in the sieve for an hour.
- Cherry: 500 g
- Sugar: 150 g

Mix the sifted flour, semolina, and salt. Add the egg, water, vegetable oil and knead the dough. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Wheat flour: 500 g
- Semolina flour: 100 g
- Salt: 10 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Water: 250 ml
- Vegetable oil: 40 ml

Mix cherry juice with starch and heat on low. Stir constantly until it reaches a jelly-like consistency.
- Cornstarch: 0.5 teaspoon

Knead the dough again, roll it out thinly, and cut out circles using a glass or a special cutter. The dough is very dense, so it's easier to roll it with a pasta machine. Place a few cherries on a piece of dough and seal the dumplings.
- Cherry: 500 g

Boil water in a large pot, add the dumplings, and when they float, place them on serving plates with sauce. Serve with sour cream.
