Sweet buns can be any shape, but if you make them in the shape of a heart, they will be especially pleasant to eat. Yeast dough needs proofing, so plan ahead!

1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.

2
In a large bowl, mix warm water, 100 grams of sugar, and yeast, and let it sit for 10 minutes. When bubbles appear on the surface, it means the yeast has activated.
- Water: 330 ml
- Sugar: 150 g
- Dry yeast: 8 g

3
Sift the flour into the same bowl, add 40 grams of softened butter, and knead the dough with a mixer using a hook attachment. The dough should pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- Wheat flour: 600 g
- Butter: 80 g

4
Knead the dough on the table, shape it into a ball, transfer it to an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and place in a warm spot for 2 hours.
- Butter: 80 g

5
Knead the risen dough on a floured surface and divide it into ten equal parts.
- Wheat flour: 600 g

6
Roll each piece into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Butter: 80 g
- Sugar: 150 g

7
Roll a rectangle along the long side into a tube, fold the tube in half, make a cut at the fold, and open it to form a heart shape.

8
Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced 3-5 cm apart. Cover the pastries with a kitchen towel and let them rest for 30 minutes.

9
Send the pastries to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

10
Place the finished pastries on a rack and let them cool.
