Sweet French toast with cinnamon is a refined treat of French cuisine that has become a favorite breakfast in many countries around the world. This recipe originated as a way to use stale bread, transforming it into a soft, fragrant, and sweet dessert. The delicate combination of milk, eggs, and sugar gives the toast airiness while cinnamon adds a warm spicy aroma. Fried to a golden crust in butter, they acquire a crispy texture on the outside and tender softness on the inside. They are served hot, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon, complemented by fruits, honey or syrup. Sweet French toast is a cozy delicacy perfect for leisurely morning enjoyment or even festive breakfasts when you want to indulge in something special.
