Lush charlotte with apples

Fluffy apple charlotte is a classic dessert of German cuisine, rooted in traditional apple pies served to guests during family tea gatherings. Its airy texture and delicate aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla make this pie a refined treat perfect for a cozy evening. Apples slightly caramelized during baking add a refreshing tartness to the charlotte, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. This pie pairs perfectly with a cup of fragrant tea or coffee, and a light dusting of powdered sugar adds the finishing touch. The simplicity of preparation makes it a favorite among home recipes, while the variability of ingredients allows for experimentation by adding cocoa for chocolate flavor notes. Fluffy charlotte is not just a dessert but a warm memory of home comfort and childhood taste.

1
Shell fresh eggs, add granulated sugar. Whisk until the mixture increases in volume. For maximum fluffiness of the pastry, beat the egg whites separately from the yolks. Value your time – whisk everything together.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Sugar: 120 g
2
Mix baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt into the mixture. Finally, gradually add the flour. The resulting mixture should be slightly liquid, like low-fat sour cream. Add two tablespoons of cocoa to the dough – the pie will have chocolate notes.
- Baking powder: 1 piece
- Vanilla sugar: 5 g
- Cinnamon: 1 piece
- Nutmeg: 30 g
- Salt: 3 g
- Wheat flour: 120 g

It's time to deal with fruits. The apple charlotte recipe with step-by-step photos requires washing the fruits and slicing them thinly. Peeling is not necessary. Photos of my charlotte are on this site.
- Sour apples: 3 pieces
4
Line the bottom of the mold with sliced apples. It's better to have plenty of apple pieces; otherwise, they will get lost in the baked goods.
5
Cover the fruits with batter and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

After 20-25 minutes, the apple charlotte will be ready (check readiness by inserting a toothpick). Turn the baked dish fruit side up and decorate with powdered sugar.
- Powdered sugar: 20 g
