Churros are wonderful Spanish (and Portuguese) fried doughnuts made from choux pastry that are popular all over the world now. You can call them not doughnuts, but just a dessert, but the essence does not change: this is a very tasty thing. In Spain, churros are one of the most popular breakfasts. They are most delicious with a cup of hot chocolate: dip the churros in it and eat.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Sift the flour.
- Wheat flour: 150 g

Add salt and baking powder.
- Salt: pinch
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon

Bring water with olive oil to a boil.
- Water: 250 ml

Pour hot water into the flour and knead the dough. It should be thick, sticky, and slightly elastic.

Transfer the dough to a pastry bag with a star tip.

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-walled pot or deep skillet.

Pipe several churros 15-20 cm long into heated oil.

Fry, stirring, until golden brown. Then place on paper towels to get rid of excess oil.
